Cody's Cello Pans
Available now!
Cody's Cello Pans are a collection of Ableton instruments I made from sampling a triple cello steel pan.
The cello pans generally sit in the lower mid to midrange frequencies but have rich, complex overtones that ring. This instrument works great played low as a complement to a piano or string section, but can also balance a track overall without competing with bass frequencies.
There are 7 keyboard instruments and one percussive drum rack made from hitting the sides of the pans.
Every note on the pan was recorded at 3 different velocities, 5 times each. The instruments are configured so that every time you play a note, it randomly selects one of the 5 samples.
This pack includes natural sounding steel pans, percussive knocks, FM synthesis patches & lush pads.
For Ableton 10 Suite & 11 Suite & Standard
